Judge Rikelman was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in June 2023.  She graduated from Harvard College in 1993 and Harvard Law School in 1997.  After graduating from law school, she clerked for Justice Dana A. Fabe on the Alaska Supreme Court and Judge Morton I.
