The United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit is hosting a court-sponsored, one-hour presentation by Margaret D. McGaughey, former Appellate Chief of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine, entitled "First Circuit Insights." Attorney McGaughey will give tips for effective oral argument based on her interviews of 19 state and federal appellate jurists and her experience arguing 450 First Circuit appeals.
